The Future of Benin Project

… is a community-centered initiative dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for children in Benin. The TRS team visited what was once an orphanage and has since been transformed into a school, with the purpose of spending time with the children and assessing additional needs beyond the existing feeding program. One key focus that emerged from this visit is the effort to build a school library, providing students with access to books, educational resources, and a safe space to learn and grow. Through this work, the project aims to strengthen literacy, support academic success, and help create a brighter future for the children served.
